The bi-national conference in Milan, Italy, is being organised jointly with our Italian colleagues from GIDRM. Our aim is to encourage young researchers (students, PhD students and post-docs) to take part.
Shared rooms for young researchers
A limited number of shared rooms (double, triple, quadruple) will be available for young researchers at a cost of around €30/night/person, including breakfast. To be eligible, you must have pre-registered on the conference website and submitted an abstract. To reserve a place, please pre-register and send a request with a copy of the submitted abstract to our GERM email address (please note that this is not the same as the conference email address).
Young researcher grants
The GERM bureau will be awarding bursaries to a number of young researchers to cover registration costs. To apply, please pre-register and send an application email with a copy of the submitted abstract and your CV to our GERM email address (please note that this is not the same as the conference email address).
Winners will be notified by mid-June at the latest. Please do not send payment of the registration fee until you have received a reply.
